Homemade Metal Roof Cleaner

For roofs that have a heavy buildup of roof moss can you add some copper sulfate to the mix aprox.

Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Opt for something soft to protect your roof s paint and parts. Spray the mirrors and windows and wipe clean. Spray this mixture onto the roof and agitate it with a soft bristled brush to get it clean.

Apply the solution to the roof surface using washcloth sponge a soft bristle brush and or non abrasive pad. For any areas that don t wash away with pressurized water fill a bucket or other container with water. 1 2 cup of rubbing alcohol. Pine sap decaying leaves and even road dirt that s drifted into the air can settle on your metal roof and stain it.

Mix water and mild detergent for stubborn areas. Lightly scrub the surface until the area is free of mildew or mold. 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. 1 4 cup of lemon juice.

Use a cloth or sponge to clean. Rinse the surface well with plain water. 1 3 cup of powdered laundry detergent 1 quart of bleach 5 solution 3 quarts of water. Most of these substances can be removed by a mixture of cup tri sodium phosphate and 1 gallon of water.

To make this natural cleaner for a car windshield or for the windows in your rv mix the ingredients and pour the solution into a spray bottle.
